Figure 4. Attribute Weights. The weight for each attribute reflects the correlation between the attribute and percent-disturbed. The weight is proportional to the attribute's coefficient in the first principal component of all reclassified attributes. Attributes that are highly correlated with disturbance receive relatively large weights, and attributes that are less correlated with disturbance receive smaller weights.
